Christmas Wishlist

People have been asking what I want for Christmas (besides a baby)...

• Slippers--for walking around the house
• Humidor--I don't smoke a lot of cigars, hence the need to store the ones I've got for special occasions!
• Shop-Vac
• NFL merchandise (favourite teams: Saints, Patriots. Favourite players: Brett Favre, Troy Polamalu, Drew Breese)
• Whiskey Stones
• Whiskey (Kentucky Bourbon/Scotch/etc.)
• Weather Monitoring station

But really, I'm just going to be thrilled to have a new baby at home!

Christmas Wish List

Family have been asking for a Christmas Wish list....

1. A Portable Table Saw (like the Dewalt DW744XRS). I don't have room for a full-sized stand-alone table saw, but these compact job-site models would fold away nicely for storage.
2. A Do-it-Yourself Tube-based Amplifier Kit. In particular I have my eye on the S-5 Electronics model 17LS. The tone-control module might also be nice, but the amplifier is a good start.
3. Belt Sander
4. Shop Vac
5. Digital Picture Frames
6. Pan-Am Memorabilia (for "man-town")
7. Cuff links and lapel pins. Most of our Jewelry were wiped out in the theft awhile back.
8. casual clothes.
9. A weather monitoring unit
10. A Triumph T-Shirt.
11. Scotch or Bourbon

Wish List...

Today is my birthday. Someone asked me for my current wish list. It is...

1. A PS3
2. An iPod (either the Nano or the Classic) or, dare I ask, an iPhone? (available in Canada starting July 11)
3. A small, CD-playing stereo for my office (with at least one stereo input or an iPod dock) Perhaps something like this. (or even a gift certificate for Bay Bloor Radio)
4. Icons (particularly of Benedict, Mary Magdalene, and St. John the Baptist
5. A nice kitchen timer
6. An LCD Picture Frame

Yes, I know, this is a tech-heavy list. But the fact is that I have plenty of books on my "must-read" shelf and have pretty much everything I "need"--so the only thing left to wish for is stuff that really is just about fun. Nothing wrong with that, right?

Christmas Wish List

My family keep asking me to post my Christmas Wish List, so here goes...

1. A light-weight robe. (Ideally I'd love a silk dressing gown, but these are very expensive unless you find one in a vintage store. One made from Chambray or cotton would be just fine.) I wear about a 44 jacket
2. A GPS device for in-car navigation. (Ideally with blue-tooth so I can use it for hands-free cellphone, too)
3. A Toolbox
4. A Doctor Who Tardis USB hub
5. Heated Towel Rack (like this)
6. Cuff Links
7. An HD TV (yeah, it's a stretch, but I might as well ask)
8. One of those cool digital picture frames
